The best
By far it is the SSL Channel Strip that sounds the best. I've never mixed on a real console so I can't say if it looks like the original or not. But I can say with complete certainty that it is the best SSL plugin. It sounds deep, clear and crisp. It also has a special tone that I love!
I'm looking forward to having it in UADx, since for now I only use it on lead vocals because I can't open more than two. If they do this it will be on each channel of my mixes to contribute its own.

So many emulations out there, i recently bought this one and it's very very VERY cool on vocals. the built in compressor sounds amazing on vocals, it's my new go to plugin on the vocal bus

There are numerous emulations of the SSL units out there, but what isn’t out there is precision which is important and that is always discerned when you hook up this and any other UAD plugin.
