This Plug-in is MASSIVE
I've only just begun to dip my toes in with this plug but the possibilities seem endless. My favourite section so far is actually the EQ. Be warned it is not subtle but the curves are amazing. The compressor section is nice as well. The room itself is the best and most realistic emulation I have ever heard. Try just putting this on your 2 buss to give your entire mix some depth.

CPU hog, no DSP, sounds ok
2 instances and my computer crawls to its knees. Sound can work on some stuffs but couldn't find a use for the vocal mode. Reverb mode should be available in DSP. Improve CPU usage, create a DSP version and it'll be 3 out of 5

Another plugin I always admired. I'm pretty green in terms of music production but as a long-time musician and fan I'm familiar with the history of Sound City Studios. Nother excellent product from UAD

Awesome on my drum bus
It's a cpu hog, but when I dial it in I bounce it andnd use the track in parallel. Also great with my guitar amp Sims. Very customizable, great sound.

Nothing less than amazing.
In a constanly growing folder of plugins of every kind, it's getting to a point were you think you've enough. Than something come out and change the rules, well this Is the case for me. I was NOT goin' to buy It, already have OceanWay, but what It does Is nothing less than amazing. Take your time with it, drums, guitars, whatever. You're not goin' to be disappointed.

Am I using this right?
I was really excited to hear this on my already recorded demos but found it to be really lacking. It made everything sound thin yet muddy which is weird to say the least. Also it’s INSANELY taxing on CPU to the point where even if it did sound good I probably wouldn’t use it much. Luckily I got it in a bundle with the API vision channel strip so it wasn’t a complete waste of money (though I only got it to get sound city on sale). Seriously thought if anyone at UAD reads this let me know if I’m doing something wrong.

Incredible room for drums. Just be aware that this plugin is a CPU hog. I’m freezing and unfreezing constantly but in the end I’m always happy with the end result.

this is an amazingly good tool for adding rooms. too bad it can't be calculated on my quad card.

Nice sound- heavy plug
Promising sound - but got some nasty pop/glitch sounds - probably cpu related. Use a 2016 dell, 12gb ram, I5. But it works, should be able to find a way.

Just finished running my bass guitar into Luna using the Sound City Studio plug-in. This is a real game changer. The selection of microphones and placement gives an incredible tonal improvement to my recordings. This is one of the best plug-ins I own.

It's great how you can push your songs into a whole new dimension. So much depth and really tailored for various instruments and vocals. I think this will be my new standard.

Awesome package, pretty complex but easy enough to figure out, be prepared for deep dives into plural possibilities and great control over a somewhat unattainable environment for most of us non-rockstars.
