Love the low end character on this one.
This unit is actually strapped to every input on my Apollo has I track into it. It's being used in both recording and for vocals for my radio show on shake108.com. It just gives the source that extra push that's needed to sound awesomer lol. Worth the purchase.

I have both Studer 800 and Ampex ATR 102, but Oxide give some special touch on each inserted chanel very simple for manipulate with great tape simulation result.Thank you Uad for such a great release.

Great addition to my collection. Help adjust just about every track give it the right sound. I mix all eight of my drum tracks with this plugin then finish it off with the Neve 88RS console!!!

Exactly What I Needed.
Oxide is a cost-effective way to get a nice tape vibe on multiple channels while saving DSP power. Great for people like me with only one UAD chip.

UAD-2 ARE THE BEST!
When mixing, i only use UAD Plugins... Period... Other brands are great and have there place in my setup, But for me, i mainly mix with UAD-2...

Easy to use
Needed something easy to use that warms up the sound a bit without beeing too much. It does exacly that.
Don't feel I need a ton of settings at this point.

super plug! les deux equ vraiment pratique, l un warm l autre plus clair, si on rentre fort dans l étage d entrée ça compresse gentiment sans abîmer les transitoires ! . je me passe de compresseur sur les batteries j utilise cette simul d enregistreur a bande !! sur le master C est très bien aussi ! gain de temps direct .....

Nothing to lose with this plug. For the price it's incredible. I have the atr and oxide. I often use oxide to saturate or just add warmth and the atr on the master.

J'adore le son plus riche qui colle mon mix tout ensemble, j'aurais aimé voir les meters du haut bouger mais c'est un petit détail qui ajoute rien à la qualité du résultat.

Nice Tape sim.
It's a very easy to use Tape simulator. I usually put it on 2 track bus of Drum , E GT , Choir with different setting.
Sounds warm to me.
and It's more affordable compares to other 2 Tape sim plugin..

Excellent tool!
After struggling with a poorly recoded bad sounding bass drum, and trying all sorts of eqs and compressors, I decided to give this a try. It sounded great right as it comes, and after a little tweaking I got excellent results. Later, I used it in the mastering chain for the same project. And after that there was no turning back, had to buy it.

If you haven't got any tape emulations then this is definately for you! Most tape emulations i've tried in the past havent really been that great but Im a bit obsessed with this one. for individual instruments it works like a charm. ive been using it a lot on synths and ive been getting a much more old sound. its bloody lovely.

subtle goodness
I purchased the oxide plug-in because I wanted to replace the tape compression that I have been missing in digital recording. It seems to work but it is very subtle and I guess subtle is good but I was expecting more of a difference. I am still dealing with the learning curve and I assume I will get better at it but for now I will have added very subtle improvement in the sound of my tracks.

WOW! JUST WOW!
I have tried so many of these tape emulator plugins and nothing really has compared to the Oxide Tape plugin. And its not just the pristine sound, but also the ease of use. Very simple controls and instant magic on any track or even bus. This is a go-to in my recording chain before my track even hits the DAW, giving me super sweet tape saturation from the get-go. And at the price you can't say no to this. I cant say enough good things about this amazing plugin... Thanks UA!!! :)
