Great unit
It’s a great unit, so far so good ….I just wish the process of making ALL the plug-ins native were done . As we know today, the computers can handle anything and I’m running a 12 core Macpro, So only having the plug-ins that work with DSP is limiting my potential.

(Used) Twin MkII Quad volume knob issues
I owned the original silver MkI Duo for many years but ran quickly out of DSPs so I recently bought a second hand (used market) MkII Quad and it's basically the same device albeit with more cores and (slightly) improved AD-DA converters according to UA. The only thing that really, really bothered me was the excessive 'play' on the volume knob. Although it does not have a clickable volume knob like the MkI does (for muting), the play was s-o-o-o bad I felt the urge to mount a 35mm flat needle bearing inside of the volume knob to stabalize the wobble. Apart from this, the MkII is a work of art.

I love the Twin and UAD plugins so far
So far I really like how SSL channel strip sounds, which I now use for live sound and for mixing. Looking forward to use more plugins.
One thing I wish wasn't artificially limited, is an ability to use two Apollo Twin interfaces. It does not make sense why this won't work. So I use the second Twin as preamp-only for now.

A versatile desktop interface
Great sound, AD and DA converters are fine. Only a desire: if it had 8 analog inputs it would be perfect!

Great stuff
Very clean sound! It was quit a thing to make it work on Mac, but once it worked it was very okay!

Excellent quality
First, I'd like to point out that I'm on Mac m1 and it works perfectly. No dropouts and very stable. The only complaints might be that I'd like to see lower RTL within the daw. Right now it cannot compete with an rme interface in terms of latency. I'd also like to be able to use the buttons on the interface for trigger sessions A and B. Meaning perhaps on session A I have the monitors turned on and session B I have the headphones turned on. For quick switching that would be great. The knob feels great

Twin X este mult mai buna iar pluginurile sunt mult prea scumpe. Dar oricum nu se compara nimic cu Universal Audio. Sunt cei mai tari!

Hammer Gerät, live und latzenzfrei abhören mit Autotune und Hall während dem Recorden ist einfach gold wert. Einzig die Pluginpreise generell finde ich persönlich ein bisschen zu hoch - alles hat seinen Preis aber ein paar niedrigpreisigere Plugins für kleine Geldbeutel wären schon schön.

Apollo Twin MkII
First of all the sound is just pure analog I've ever heard from any audio card in the market. All my gear sounds just great and for example when playing the electric guitar trough the provided plugins they sound like original, like playing trough real amps.
Only downside is that I can not use my other plugins in Luna for analog sound, only midi and then the Luna sometimes keeps crushing. Hope this will be fixed in time. So far so good! Thank you.

Apollo Twin MKII
I've been hesitating investing into the Apollo interfaces but just recently took the leap. The Twin is powerful and discrete. I was a skeptical if I would hear a noticeable difference from my Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 but was pleasantly surprised. I also felt the Unison preamp technology may be a bit gimmicky but I bought the Neve 1084 it makes a substantial difference.

Apollo is a great interface. I like the foot print and layout of the controls. Conversion quality is good. Very happy with the quality and efficiency of workflow that Apollo has afforded me.

Ma deuxième Apollo Twin
Je suis passé de l'Apollo Twin Usb windows à cette Mk2 sur mac et je ne regrette pas. Pas de problème avec la nouvelle puce M1 Apple Silicon à noter
