Tube Up!
I've got a lot of tube gear, and I'm sick of turning it on to find out that one channel is a little weak because a tube is fading, or that some new noise has appeared and a unit has to go in for servicing.
The UAD hardware pres in the Apollo range, combined with the software modeling, is a huge win. How often will you get to try a 610A on your tracks?
The 610A may not be the right pre for every situation. But for those situations it IS for, it is simply GREATNESS. And you'd be surprised how often that is.
Bottom line, this thing is magic. Once you start using it, you'll find you can't live without it. It will level up your production in a BIG way.
What else matters? Don't waste time. Make more music, make better music, and quit whining!

Great Great!
It kills the Waves version in my opinion. I love it on Piano and bass. It's awesome on drums and vocals too. Great sounding, although I have never heard a real Fairchild on my own mix, but I think for this price the UAD can't be beat.

Realistic tube warmth and character
I own every unison preamp for apollo and they all shine in their own way. The 610A sounds absolutely brilliant on many sources and can add a harmonic distortion which ranges from barely a trace to huge fuzzy warmth. The EQ is also a great and very fast to operate.

CAN YOU GUYS PLEASE DO A PULTEC PRO VERSION OF THIS AS WELL JUST LIKE YOU HAVE WITH THE LEGACY SO YOU CAN HAVE ALL 3 PLUGINS IN 1. IT'D SAVE US SO MUCH TIME THAT WE WON'T HAVE TO GO BACK AND FORTH!

I Am A Believer!
I've used quite a few LA-2A's in my day and I was super skeptical when purchasing this plugin.... It didn't take long before i saw its core power! This compressor became my permanent compressor for my vocal chain when tracking/mixing in the box. Male, Female, low voice, a high nasally voice, it doesn't matter! UA made the compressors like virtual tanks!( And not a DSP hog like other units are.) *thumbs up* , Cheers!

Excellent compressors for any application
Wow, these 1176 that come equipped in the Classic Limiter Plugin Bundle live up to all the hype. I have used a ton of Universal Audio and love both hardware and software versions. Whether is tracking/mixing (or both with the Apollo) vocals, a snare top, or an acoustic guitar this compressor can handle the workload and sounds almost identically to using the hardware version. UA did a get an excellent job! Definitely one of my go-to compressors when mixing in the box. Cheers!

Great mix buss glue
Fantastic on my main mix bus! I've never used the hardware so can't compare to this but this is a fantastic plug in for me. I use this on almost every project. Side chain is always useful with kick drum heavy mixes as well. A++++

Having never heard the real thing
I'm very happy with this preamp. I use it as a Unison insert and it makes everything sound open and natural, but with the ability to dial in all sorts of color. I'm glad it was included with the Apollo, I might never have discovered it.

I have the actual LA-2A at the studio I work at, and I have to say I am surprised how well this emulates the real deal. The only difference is the hardware adds more low end. That's all I noticed. I don't even care about that minor difference. Great plugin for vocals.

Great on everything
The bluestripe sounds great on snare and toms if I drive it hard enough. I always try to get that big snare sound. Each has their own subtle characteristics. You can't go wrong with this price. You get 3 different flavors.
