Very good indeed...
These compressors do amaze me, despite being aggressive if I want them too, they can also be subtle and real warm.,.. it´s night and day difference for the Legacy 1176!

Functional Heft and Easy parallel compression
While I have not been able to work with a real Fairchild to compare, I recognize the sonic character these units contribute to many classic rock recordings. Having multiple virtual units to work with is quite fun, as each real unit is at least a few grand, if not 20.
My favorite thing about this plug in, beyond the amazing sound, is the built-in wet/dry control, which makes parallel compression easy to use sparingly on individual tracks.
I'm enjoying it on drums, bass, GUITARS, vocals, synths, and it's a go-to mix tool now.
Very receptive to tweaking and feel, especially with the subtle DC and headroom controls, and the 660 is great for mono sources.

Add the 1A with default settings and it imparts a very pleasing, saturated tone to the overall sound of a mix without disturbing EQ. Of course there are many other uses but I really like this so much, I use it on everything now.

Impressive
Of course, I read the reviews before purchasing the LA-2A collection, of course it encouraged me to purchase it, of course I was confident knowing the extreme quality of UA products, of course I'm not a pro, neither mastering engineer nor HFO, of course one could considere that I'm not sufficient an expert to write a review, of course I never used the hardware equivalent BUT what I can tell you is that with these plugins, my music sounds soooooo well! so, what else?

I PURCHASED THESE 2 PLUG FROM MY COMPUTER CENTRAL AND I THOUGHT THAT WOULD BE DIRECTED TO THE AUTHORIZATION SECONDARY STATION.
I HAVE SENT SEVERAL TRANSFER AGENT FOR PERMITS A POSITION ON THE OTHER BUT I HAVE NEVER BEEN ANSWERED.
PLEASE GIVE ME THE PROCEDURE TO RECTIFY THIS PROBLEM;

Perfect EQ
This eq is great. The three seperate parts helps keep DSP usage low if you're just after little tweaks. Make this one of your first purchases (all though the legacy pultec is still very nice)

Exactly as expected
Even if I haven't really tried them very hard yet, they're exactly what I was looking for.
I work mainly on electronic music, and the 1176 is great for synths and drums.
Very happy with them so far!
