The 1176 is super versatile, I use it in combo with the LA-2A collection for insane results. Even on its own, this thing is a beast. I use it on anything from vocals to drums to electric guitar. The fact you get 3 flavors is an added bonus.

I’ve had this plugin for a few years now and can’t stop using it. I use the 1176 Rev on my vocals and it sounds amazing. I really hope the UA team create the (Pink) 1176 and add it to the collection I would most definitely buy it

Incredible on vocals
If you're ever looking to make your tracks sound wider, look no further than this plugin. Place it on background vocals, and all of a sudden, they support your lead vocals so perfectly. Got keys that need a little more separation from the rest of the mix? Throw this on and your mix will feel bigger and better. I use this on every mix.

Magic in a plugin
There's a real sort of magic to these plugins. When you put them on your vocals (especially the Gray model), all of a sudden they just sound so much more warm, polished, and smooth.

This is it. What makes perfect to your mix. This sound is the one I've always heard in all the hit records in history. You can do the same thing in your room with the small UAD Apollo gear. Get one and Use it. You'll never disappointed.

Best reverb I ever heard.
Sound of Lexicon is the sound you've heard always in the record. Also, UAD did a very good job on making an same reverb from the original. It's always a good option when you can't decide the right reverb to use. Use the Lexicon.

Pultec got it's own tone without any EQ adjustment and I love it. It makes the sound more vintage. It'll make your mix to another level.

Wow! Just wow! Absolutely incredible plug in. Turn it up all the way and it will still sound great. Sculpt and shapes like a charm. This plug in paired with the studer is an absolute menace. Bite the bullet and buy it now!!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

BEAUTIFULLY MADE.
I used to be an intern at Ocean way studios (now back to united) and they had about 4-8 in each studio (A-B-C) and I had a chance to not only dial these in but to see the guts of this thing. AND LET ME TELL YOU....YOU CANT TELL THE DIFFERENCE IF YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES.
I used the plug-in and real versions of this unit and the saturation is almost identical. (These plug-in are emulated from a unit in there factory or something and each piece of gear HAS ITS ON CHARATER AND SOUND) GET THESE. DONT HESITATE. WORTH EVERY PENNY.

My Go To for Guitars!
Once I've heard Steve Vai saying that his favorite preamp for guitars was the API... Now I can understand why! I absolutely love the API Vision Strip, the character of the preamp is very full and "in your face" and the 550 EQ is simply fantastic! Sounds aggressive, but never harsh, it enables you to shape sounds in a really musical way. Super recommended!

The sound I've always been looking for.
I tried the demo in detail and I must say that this equalizer got me very quickly, with its absolutely perfect sound. It's the equalizer I've always been looking for. A wonderful and perfect sound for me. I invest the next earned money in this equalizer. I didn't think UA could still raise the bar higher with already perfect plugins, but they did it. For me, UA is the absolute unit in the market. Thank you for the excellent work you do 1000%. Thanks to you, we can also make professional sound at home.

Excellent Budget UAD Choice
The other tape machine UA offers has more control but this is a SOLID tape for the price point its sounds great just wish you had more control like the other tape machines. Using this with Kramer tape on individual tracks with half mix or less and getting excellent results.

Hard to Let Go!
Well, I stared working on a new mix, so of course I had to test this Plugin out. Wow, it fit right into my workflow.
I usually don't buy right away, (initial pricing) but with nine days left on my demo, I had to make this purchase. It didn't take long for me to realized that I wouldn't be able to remove this excellent EQ from my mix!
It's not magic, it doesn't fix bad mixes, but if you have a nice clean mix, you'll definitely hear the flavors this has to offer. Nice one!

Vocal saturator
I love this for subtle yet effective vocal saturation. It gives a nice low end that is not overwhelming, which I love after doing some low cut for clean processing.
