UAD-2 Satellite Firewire

Product Good Customer Service Terrible

I bought this thinking it was coming with plugins. I already have the base package they were giving with this. So i asked for the chance to pick a couple i didnt have and was told that wasnt a option.

This is simply a disgrace

How can UAD sell Firewire hardware when it's no longer supported by the latest versions of MacOs and by Universal Audio in their latest versions of UAD drivers???
Isn't this a real problem of ethics and deontology?
Tell me if I've missed anything, but this is simply a disgrace.

Great functioning device but kind of late purchase as Big Sur won't support Firewire 800 protocols anymore (what I missed). Will need to dispose of it or re-sell it to fund the purchase of an Octo TB3 UAD Satellite.

You do not want me reviewing your gear. Despite all of my research, setting up an optimal system and getting reassurance that this would work seamlessly with my hard and software...and paying in excess of $1000...not only did it not work, but it was like dropping a bomb on my system. If there was a -5 I would give it a -10. Not only did it cause havoc, but now I can only return the hardware and am stuck in the muck with a $400 bill for useless software because you guys won't take your destructive shit back. I still can't make it work my sattelite, i have a problem with firewire card connection still not fix this problem and can't tell yet :)
