This thing is an absolute BEAST!!!
I've tried the demo and I jut couldn't believe it. Since then I use this on EVERY mix I do. What it does to the sound is absolutely fantastic. The EQ is superb and sounds analog to my ears. You can push it hard and it doesn't sound harsh or boomy.
I just can't find enough words to describe it.
If you are looking for that professional polished sound, look no further because it's right here.

Neve 88RS
Love the heftiness of this channel strip. It adds colour the more you tweak the knobs. The channel can also be pushed into the dirt which is fantastic. When placing them on a whole session it definitely amounts to a 'sound'. I also run them through the UAD pre's for a bit more colour.

Very good EQ and preamp. I like how the plugin seems to create a bit of space around the track, giving it a little better definition in the mix without even engaging the EQ. The EQ curves behave like the hardware and the sound is quite close (although not really there, don't believe the hype). Not night and day vs the Scheps 73, but a little better and smoother. A little thicker, if a little subdued in comparison, but in a good way. Smoother highs, no bad hype. Low end filter is good. It's a power hog though and the SE regular version is damn close. Very satisfying to use!

Very useful, powerful, and creative channel strip. Filters and EQ will add a beautiful color if pushed, but will be bright and precise if you add them just a touch. The compressor and gate are very musical too.

1073's the BEST!
I have API Vision Channel Strip, UA 610A,B.
and After i tested 1073, I'm using 1073 only. ;)
Great color, Saturation and Warmth...
You can't fell the whole felling of this from youtube.
I recommend you to demo this.
But be careful.
If you test this, you can't stop buying this. xD

Neve 1073 have problably the best Unison sound of Apollo, must to have.

A very versatile Tool
Still learning a lot with all those Plugins. But what I like most about the Neve 88 Channel Strip is that one can use it in different Settings. It has a smooth working EQ with Character. Where can I buy a real Console? Haha...

Amazing.
This preamp is seriously.....excellent. I can't believe my ears. Slate Digital offers great preamps for a good price...but if you REALLY want the BEST virtual preamp.....the Neve 1073...kinda hard to beat.

Once again, UA gets it right.
I'm not an engineer, but as a longtime studio musician who has recorded with most of the "real" versions of the UA plugins that I have, I can honestly say that UA gets it right every time. And the Neve 88RS is certainly no exception.

Neve 1081 / 1081SE Classic Console EQ
Love the Neve 1081 gear .... (apollo 8, Satellite , Twin Thunderbolt) .... and 1081 give me that musical warm punch of real consoles from days gone by ..... the match of these together is serious . The SE 1081 also very usable when you want to conserve DSP, and still maintains integrity. Thanks Gentlemen!

I worked on my first Neve console back in the 80's. For me personally it is something that stays with you, like driving a classic Ferrari from the 60's sure there are lots of other high performance cars, but only the Ferrari has that specific vibe about it. I have heard ll the arguments from people who say yeah I can tell the difference between the real thing and this plug in, but my argument is I can tell the difference between the individual Neve channels in a console so who is to say this isn't just another 1073 with it's own unique flavor. I love this plug in, I use it in combination with so many different things, but I think I love it the most on vocals , I am a bit biased as I have been a rock vocalist for a few decades. The 1073 adds a presence to vocals that I describe as British and in your face big, puts strong vocals right up front where they belong. If I had any suggestion to UAD for this plug in, it would be a to add some kind of variation function that allows a bit of deviation in the over all sound character, so that it can be more representative of several different 1073's in a console, as some sound better on vocals, others drums and so forth. Thanks UAD I love this plug in!!!

Easy to use, pleasing to the ears
I've always loved channel strip plugins because they provide the bread and butter you need for mixing any track within a single plugin. Compared to my other favorite channel strip plugins, most notably the SSL ones, this sounds a bit 'rounder' to my ears whereas the SSL sounds a bit 'sharper'. I know that's a bit vague but you probably know what I mean. I've never mixed on an actual Neve so I couldn't tell you how it sounds compared to that, but I can tell you that to my ears it sounds good. Real good. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because it's nothing new. I would have loved to see for instance a dry/wet knob for the dynamics section, but other than that you hear no complaints from me :)

I used a lot of plugins so far to find the perfect sound, but this Neve 88RS channel strip really is a game changer for me. Perfectly warm on vocals, bass, guitars and drums and gluing the mix together!
