I expected something completely crazy from all the stories around it... To be honest, I didn't get what all the fuss is about... probably not my taste, but it's alright for whoever needs the specific sound

Quite astonishing how my vocals have improved in terms of openness and smooth defined saturation. ITS THAT sound. The slightest amount of Eq goes a long way also. Very sensitive. Now I’m even running some of my old vocal takes through it as a plug in. This is the reason I bought a UAD interface.

Amazing Preamp!

As soon as I put this preamp on in the UAD unison mode in the console and recorded vocals into my mic (AT 4050) I purchased it 5 minutes later. This preamp makes anything going through it sound incredible. I find just this Neve preamp sounds a bit smoother and warmer than the full blown 1073. Put this with the Neve 88RS and or the 1176 and you have digital GOLD!
