This Channel Strip is great! I use it on almost every channel
Rather neutral workhorse channel strip. Just placing on the channel warms up that track's sound. The Mic level gain input can be used to add cool analog style distortion.
Drums, synth bass, bass, guitar, pads...whatever! Thorough this on the channel and even with 0 modification, it will improve the sound.

perfect combination with 1073
1073 and 1081 are the best combination for any kinds of instruments.different frequencies and if you combine them you can achieve anything you like in a mix. great sounding as always!

Disabling LoadLock was the key...
I tried out the 1073 previously, but found that it was draining my DSP so fast that I could never be using as an EQ-plugin as I wanted. Figured it was not worth it. Then I learned about disabling LoadLock which does not use DSP from any sections of the plugin that you don't use and that made me go for this plugin and I've not regretted it. I really love both the EQ and the preamp of this plugin. A slight midtone boost gives the wonderfull vintage sound on vocals, snare drums and many other instruments I was looking for.

Excellent plugin
This eq is one of this, Its so good on the vocal, no complaints I am very much happy with it, my next go to eq to purchase soon will be the neve 1073.

The Neve 1073 is GREAT!
I have used the real Neve 1073 preamps & eq's a lot over over the years and this plugin reminds me of the sound and feel of the hardware unit. I have not A/B'd the UAD 1073 vs. an original (nor will I) as I don't think it matters. This is a great tool in its own right.

Loving the Neve 88RS Channel Strip plug-in, well worth investing in this one, love the EQ, the Compression, everything really, finding it quite useful on drums. Another winner from UAD!

i have to admit i was very skeptical of the claims and or if there was a significant improvement using this plugin on vocals and after I demoed it there was no doubt the effectiveness of printing direct to tape(disc) it makes. I do not know what it does or how but the recording is just fantastic. thanks UAD !!!

A classic flavor for your EQing
I bought it recommended by an experimented "old school" Audio Engineer. I was a bit reluctant to buy them... till I heard them and I said: "wwwwooowww" it´s like you have the real gear. It´s very precise and I preffer to use them on Ac Guitars, Vocals and Snares, I get a great sound to on Cellos and Violas. It´s a must on your EQs arsenal.
