Streamlined work flow/ great results without getting lost in too many choices
I'm a serious, ( some would disagree), hobbyist that has switched to UAD LUNA and a lot of their plugins... I love some of these newer plugins that are quick and easy to use...I don't...

best amp simulation i've ever heard
Works very nice in combination with my Volt 476 and Luna. Can't hear any lag or delay with my signal chain, very natural sounding.

It’s a Fairchild and it’s amazing
The Fairchild is a great compressor, legendary and this sounds like the hardware. If you aren’t familiar it will take a learning curve but being able to compress the center different...

I'm a serious, ( some would disagree), hobbyist that has switched to UAD LUNA and a lot of their plugins... I love some of these newer plugins that are quick and easy to use...I don't mind creating busses for effects and automating stuff, but since Im mostly doing brit invasion sounding stuff I don't need to be crippled with too many choices....I must say, the ducking feature is going to be a real time saver.....I get the feeling that veteren pro's might not like this, but in my case this plug in keeps me moving before ear fatigue and analysis of paralysis sets in..... My guess is that this will go on sale pretty quick since not many reviews....its pricy, but, this is my main hobby...lol

This thing is legendary, I can say I will never get a chance to touch the real thing, but this thing sounds great, you want a subtle transparent Comp……then buy this, works great on a stereo bus but also find it works great as a compressor to glue together busses, you won’t go wrong with this emulation of a legendary piece of equipment and like most of universals stuff, it’s probably very close to the same as the original piece

Absolutely love this channel strip, I bought it mostly to use with drum overheads but find myself using it on other tracks as well. Really brought some of my mixes to life………rule of thumb, try it out, if you know what it does try it out and you will buy it. It does what it does perfectly and it’s a tool that will ease your life and quicken mixing speed

Really great stuff like most of the plugins by UAD, but with the relatively high latency that the Apollo interfaces have, this Amp is near to useless to me for recording through it. It's a pity.

Better than SSL
In comparison with the SSL Plugin version, very good. How can a 3rd party emulation be better than the Original manufacturer? I cancelled my SSL subscription finally because all the Plugins sounds so bad, and, since I listen to the UA version, yes nearly perfect.

Very nice plugin. Could be improved with stereo.
There are lots of options on this to choose from and work with. But after downloading it I discovered that GarageBand already has a similar feature - but without so many options. So that is a bonus for this plugin.
What this plugin really needs is a stereo option to really get a full effect and that is missing. Which is disappointing as the setup has options for more than one microphone. Hopefully that will be an updated feature soon. Stereo Please. (if it has it I didn't see it)J. Reinhardt
Broken promise by UA
The promise of Spark was that you get native versions of previously purchased plugins for free. I am disappointed that this is not the case for this native version of the SSL G Comp. According to the support page there no upgrade other than the SC function.
