Close to the hardware original.
Pretty darn convincing. 4 stars is just because I don't personally have a lot of use for this kind of effect very often, but it's a classic, and heard on many thousands of albums back in the day.

These are almost as good as the hardware, and more authentic in the short attack time behavior than competing emulations. Great stuff!

Best ITB LA-2A
Unlike other plugins trying to emulate this hardware, the UAD version is very close. Very smooth. The 3 different revisions all have quite different attack times, meaning this collection is a lot more flexible than it seems with just the two knobs.

Professional tape machine (more professional control can be added)
Great tape machine for all instruments and general mixing. I would also like to see a button for switching the VU meter "before" and "after" the tape. For more visual control and not only auditory control. That would be great :)

I have Windows 10 and Cubase. In Cubase this software complains it's not connected to hardware.

What a beautiful product to Add to your sonic arsenal for a tiny bit of warmth on a bus or a blast of Bass and Air that will make you smile.
The presets are a great start but these are very easy to dial in plugins the.
I really like the Meq-5 on guitars and use both to give a final touch on my master channel.
Just a bit of boost and cut can go can make a big difference and even with our any boost or cut it’ll add that bit of analog sound inside your digital workspace! At first I was like cool a new plug-in but it just delivered with a few clicks I was amazed at how this made me smile!

Almost bought, then noticed it's Native-only -- it cannot be used for performance
I don't have a serious issue with native plugins in general but a speaker effect should be a UAD plugin. Example, if you're playing a guitar through a rotating speaker, you will play differently to experiment with and optimize the effect -- you can't do that with a native plugin (in most cases, practically speaking). For $200 USD, I can choose from an array of effects pedals that will do the same thing, and all of them will work on stage as well as in the studio.

The More I Use It, The More I Love It!
The more I use the API channel strip, the more I love it. It's an amazing emulation of the infamous API gear. For those of us that need the ability to switch consoles based on client demand, this is a powerful tool to have in the arsenal. Magic on acoustic guitars; gut pushing punch on drums; crystal on vocals; power for guitars and keys. Altogether provides that API sound in-the-box for impact on mixes. Worth every penny.

Not a windows product.
I purchased an apollo twin x usb (windows only) I figured it would be plug and play but that couldn't be further from the truth. I watched several trouble shoot videos and could never resolve the issue. I uninstalled and reinstalled uaudio software 5+ times. I've never stressed so much over hardware simply doing its job. Uaudio, if you want to sell more units, make your hardware compatible with windows. I will be purchasing an RME babyface pro once I get my return funds.

Nice reverb good complement to Capital Chambers reverb, doesn’t have quite the depth of Capital chambers but still has an “Air” to it. Use on Guitaring backing parts.

Cannot imagine mixing without this plugin
The classic Pultec sound. This plugin just makes everything that passes through it so much more musical. It’s incredible the way it can give a source so much more vibe, depth and sense of a creating a 3D image from something 2D. Indispensable.
